The challenge
Where it started
In 2024, medical physicists who were mentoring junior colleagues for the RSO exam kept seeing the same thing: scattered notes, outdated PDFs, and no proper way to practise. Their resources lived in a shared Google Drive folder.
Candidates preparing for the AERB Radiological Safety Officer exam had no single place to study, no realistic practice papers, and no clear view of which topics they were weak in.
Our solution
We built an online learning platform for RSO exam preparation, based on what the mentors had been doing by hand.
Radiotherapy
Study material and tests for the radiotherapy RSO exam.
Nuclear medicine
Study material and tests for the nuclear medicine RSO exam.
Diagnostic radiology
Study material and tests for the diagnostic radiology RSO exam.
Technologies used
Next.js
The website, student dashboard, and study pages.
Flutter
The Android app on Google Play.
Test engine
Timed mock exams with instant scoring and AI-driven insights.
Email OTP and Google sign-in
Simple, password-free sign-in for students.
How we built it
Organise the content
Notes, video lectures, and presentations arranged by track and topic: radiation physics, dosimetry, and QA.
Build the mock tests
Timed exams modelled on AERB RSO papers, with an explanation for every question.
Show progress
A dashboard that shows scores over time and the topics that need more work.
Add the community
A forum, notice board, and a way for qualified experts to become authors.
